As the latest hire in their continuing expansion, Prospect Genius has recently brought in Mike Coleman for the newly created role of sales manager. With the late-June addition of this position, Prospect Genius has now doubled the size of their sales staff since the beginning of 2012.
Alex Pelli, president of Prospect Genius, explains, “As the sales team has increased, we felt it was important to bring in a manager who could make sure these folks were getting the support and guidance they need.”
The sales manager position was developed to sustain, strengthen, and expand the sales team through the leadership and guidance of this experienced sales and advertising executive. With a background in sales going back to 1997, Coleman brings with him extensive experience in both marketing and management. Melding his expertise in customer relations, calling strategies, and training with Prospect Genius’s hallmark model of integrity in online advertising, Coleman’s role is primarily designed to help existing and future account managers as they help clients.
As Pelli states, “We were presented with the opportunity to bring Mike on and we jumped at it. One of his major directives is to grow the sales team through recruiting high-quality people as well as to help equip our current account managers with the tools they need to maximize their success.”
In taking the reins as sales manager, Coleman will be working alongside the rest of the PG sales team to reach out to local businesses and service providers to help them achieve their online advertising goals.
Prospect Genius is a search engine optimization company providing effective online advertising for small businesses. Founded in 2007, this Internet marketing company works to increase web visibility for local service providers.
