Welcome to today’s two-minute talk. Today, I’d like to give you just a little bit of an idea of who we are and what we’re all about. Our philosophy, in general, is to spend your money the way we would spend our money— and the way we see it, our job is to help you fill in the gaps in whatever marketing strategy you have in place right now.
How many times have you had someone tell you that their magic beans can solve everything for you, if only you just scrap what you’re doing and start completely over? We hear that a lot and we disagree with it completely. There are cases where that’s appropriate, but most often you’ve got something in place and it’s working to some level. So, we would much rather find the weak points and help you figure out how to plug those weak spots in a way that will help everything to work better together.
And so, with that philosophy, we really try to guide you in the way that would be exactly how we’d spend our own money.
So, most of the time, unfortunately, the truth never sounds as good as the lie. I think we all know that to be true. So, when you have us telling you that it’s going to take time, it’s going to take patience and it’s going to take some hard work and fingers on a keyboard that never sounds as exciting or as sexy as magic beans that are going to solve your problem tomorrow.
Unfortunately, the magic beans don’t exist. The internet is no more magic than those beans are. And the way you succeed is work and time. That’s just how it is.
You know, we’d much rather do what’s right by you then to sell you something you either don’t need, or it doesn’t even exist, like magic beans. So, our commitment to you is first to be honest, and that is our first core value. So, it means we’ll actually, in some cases, talk you out of doing business with us and that’s okay. You know, we’re not always the right fit for everyone in every case. But the one thing I can promise you is that we will be honest. We’ll tell you exactly what it is we think is the right solution for you. Even if we know it’s kind of not what you’re going to want to hear.
